Your documents stay on your computer

InvoiceBud is desktop software that reads your scanned backhauls and turns them into invoices. It runs entirely on your own machine. Your scanned documents, the data taken from them, and the invoices you create stay on your computer. They are not uploaded to us, and we do not have access to them. This Privacy Policy therefore covers our website and the messages you send us, not the documents you process inside the software.

Information we collect

Information you provide

When you fill in our quote form or our contact form, you may give us your first and last name, email address, phone number, company name, province, fleet size, industry, and anything you write in the message or notes field. You choose what to share. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.

Information collected automatically

Our website is served by a third-party hosting provider. As with most websites, the host may record standard technical details such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you view. This is used to keep the site secure and running well.

Cookies and analytics

Our website does not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not track you across other websites.

How long we keep your information

We keep the messages and form submissions you send us for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep reasonable business records. When we no longer need them, we delete them or remove the details that identify you.
